Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website and on the Scroll Ninja waitlist. Scroll Ninja is an iPhone app that is not released yet. When the app launches, it will come with its own privacy policy, published here.

2. What we collect when you join the waitlist

• Your email address, to send you the launch email.
• Your language, as your browser reports it (for example "en-US"), so we can write to you in the right language.
• When you signed up (date and time).
• Your consent: the fact that you ticked the box to receive launch emails.
• Where you signed up: which form on the page you used (for example the top of the page or the pricing section) and, if the link you followed had one, its campaign tag (utm_source). This tells us which links work. It does not identify you.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number or anything else.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use this data for one purpose only: to email you when Scroll Ninja launches (launch emails). No newsletters about other things, no marketing for other products.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, with a click on the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

4. Where your data is stored

The waitlist is stored with our secure database provider, Supabase, in an EU or US data center. Supabase processes the data only on our behalf. If your data is stored or processed outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

To send the launch email we will use an email delivery service that works only on our instructions.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until we send the launch email, plus 12 months. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we delete it sooner. After that, it is deleted.

6. Who can see it

Only us, and the providers listed above that store or send data for us. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it for ads.

7. This website

• No tracking. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
• Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. To do this, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Music. The music button plays a file from our own site, only if you press it.

8. The app, in short

Scroll Ninja works with Apple Screen Time. Your Screen Time data stays on your iPhone. We never see your messages, photos or what you watch. No ads, no data selling.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• see the data we hold about you, and get a copy (access and portability);
• correct it (rectification);
• have it deleted (erasure);
• limit or object to how we use it (restriction and objection);
• withdraw your consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, write to support@scrollninja.app. We answer within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

10. Children

The waitlist is not meant for children under 14. If you think a child has joined, write to us and we will delete the data.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use your email, we will tell you by email before it applies.
